of them:
Sunrise Golf & Racquet Club Course
The 9-hole "Sunrise Golf & Racquet
Club" course at the Sunrise Golf & Racquet Club facility in Surrey,
British Columbia features all the hallmarks of British Columbia golf. Sunrise Golf & Racquet Club golf course opened in 1985. |
Northview Golf & Country Club
The two breathtaking Arnold Palmer
designed championship layouts have been home of the PGA Tours "Air Canada
Championship" for 7 years. The Tour-tested Ridge and Canal courses challenge
players of all skill levels. The Ridge course flows over rolling terrain
with a wide variety of golf holes, with tight, tree lined fairways, elevated
tees and greens, water hazards and 120 sand traps to ambush the golfer.
The Canal course is a links style layout featuring an abundance of water
hazards, sand traps, native fescue and contoured fairways. |
Morgan Creek Golf Course
This newer Thomas McBroom designed
championship course winds through an upscale residential community and
preserves the environmentally sensitive Morgan Creek. The course is an
official PGA tour site, has consistently been ranked amongst the top courses
in Canada since it first opened for play in 1995.Just 35 minutes from downtown
Vancouver makes it a great facility for hosting corporate and social functions. |
Redwoods Golf Course
A newer course cut out of a forest,
with some very old redwoods remaining in the 50 acres of natural habitat.
Red Tailed hawks and black tail deer are common on the course. The challenges
lie in a hilly terrain, several small lakes and sand bunkers. |
Hazelmere Golf & Tennis Club
This semi private golf facility
offers a challenging 18 hole designed for players of all abilities. From
the signature par 3, to the lavishly landscaped fairways and beautiful
water features. Well stocked golf shop, CPGA lesson programs, casual sports
lounge with outside patio, fine dining, meeting facilities and friendly,
professional staff await you. |
Langley Golf Centre
This Par 3 course, about 45 minutes
from Vancouver, appeals to both novice golfers learning their swing and
experienced golfers improving their short game, with its 2 storey driving
range with heated stalls for year-round practice. Holes range in yardage
from 105 to 202, and some feature water and sand hazards to keep you sharp.
The signature hole is a two tiered green on hole number 16. Langley Golf
Centre was opened in 1980 and is family owned and operated and includes
practice facilities, pro shop, and the Par Buster Bistro! |
Newlands Golf & Country Club
Highly regarded for its aesthetic
beauty, this semi-private course has well-maintained evergreen-sheltered
fairways, with colourful flowerbeds gracing the course. On many holes,
attractive rock walls can be found, sometimes affecting play by bouncing
an errant shot. The highlight is the 12th hole with a 199-yard par 3 from
an elevated tee to a green set within a circled wall of rocks. Newlands
has added a "new" executive layout to complement the Championship 18 Hole
Course. Also has raquetball and gym facilities. |
