Planning a road trip to the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada this fall? While in the Lower Mainland stop by Langley to discover all of their offerings. There are plenty of things to do this season for the perfect fall day out.
Whether you’re with the kids or with adults there is lots to do and see at the Aldor Acres Pumpkin Patch. The patch offers more than just pumpkins as you can access the animal displays in the barns and check out their outdoor petting zoo. The patch even offers a hayride to help you find your perfect pumpkin. They are open daily from 9 am - 5 pm starting from September 21st until October 31st. A pumpkin patch is always a fall must-do.
Make sure you stop by Krause Berry Farm & Estate Winery. Their name might be deceiving because they offer much more than just berries and winemaking, it is a great fall destination for families as well. At the Vegetable Garden, you can find all sorts of seasonal farm produce. Our favourites include green beans, corn, Brussels sprouts, and nugget potatoes. While at the farm, make sure you check out their bakery - we’re a big fan of their pies and doughnuts.
If you are planning on making this an adults-only trip, stop by the Chaberton Estate Winery, as this is a favourite amongst British Columbians. We recommend sampling their wonderful selections of wine before you choose your favorite to take home. While you are there, take the time to go on a winery tour. This is offered from April to October at 11:30 am and 3:00 pm or if you are visiting from November to March you can go on this tour, which runs daily at 2:00 pm
Planning on heading up to Langley or Surrey and wondering where you can stay? Look no further than the Ramada Langley Surrey for comfortable accommodations and a variety of room options that will be perfect for any group.
